For the admittance into Kazakhstan of live animals, the traveler must present to the Embassy of Kazakhstan the animal health certificate, issued in the area of origin of the animal. In the case of dogs and cats, the traveler must also present the certificate of anti-rabies vaccination.

In accordance with last year changing of Kazakhstan Visa legislation and decision of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, citizens of all member countries of the Organization of the Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), can travel to Kazakhstan without a visa and can stay there up to 30 days each entry. This rule is starting from January 1, 2017 and effective until 31st Dec 2018.
All foreign citizens must register within 5 calendar days after arrival to Kazakhstan. Otherwise, they will be fined by either Immigration or Border Patrol Services in addition to potential departure problems.
